Girls love shopping, it doesn’t matter which age bracket you belong; the truth is that whenever we go, we cannot help but spend great amount for clothing, shoes, bags and other knick-knacks. At times, we even spend more than we can afford, but that’s beside the point.
What’s out concern now is with all these apparels cluttered all over the place, where in world will we place all these stuffs? Good thing there is a wardrobe that we can modernize to look and match the fashionable clothes we wear. Yes, we can create our old-fashioned wardrobe to a funkier up-to-date wardrobe in no time.
Here are a few tips on how to make your wardrobe up-to-date:
• Take out all your clothes from your wardrobe. Leave them in some other place in your room for a while.
• If you are that kind of person who loves sticking posters to your wardrobe, well, don’t you think it’s time to transform? Get rid of that posters and stickers, because it does not only make your closet look chaotic, it also appears grubby and obsolete. The best thing is to freshen up the paint of your wardrobe using a more contemporary color like red, green, orange, yellow or make it simple yet elegant with cream or white. You can even opt for a combination of two colors to make it more modish. A good model would be red combined with black (for men and women in their 30+, green with orange or purple and pink (for teenagers and 20+). Alternatively you can make your wardrobe from pine, oak or mahogany.
• Now, free your wardrobe with old clothes that you have not worn in 2 years (Except the party dress that you can still wear occasionally); it’s just time to adjust with your newly bought clothing. Or, you can recycle! Make those old-fashioned denims to skimpy shorts that will make you stunning when worn.
• Get Organize. Hung those well-designed dress you have all together in one place; Black should all be together, same thing goes with other colors like red and blue or green. This way it would be effortless in your part to search for whatever you want to show off.
• Denims can be placed in the most accessible layer inside your wardrobe, put them all together. Shorts must be separated with the pants for an easier grasp especially when you are in a hurry.
• Clothes hangers colored in black or white makes your wardrobe look very orderly, so, get rid of all the other hangers in different colors and change it all in black or plain white.
• Buy trendy boxes in different sizes and colors for your trinkets and other accessories for you to segregate your favorite most-often used accessories to the ones that you only use occasionally. You can also lay your photos, photo albums, school supplies, and other personal things in bigger boxes to make sure you will not have the hard time looking when you need them.
• Shoes that you hardly ever use can be placed in your wardrobe under the last shelf together with slippers that you rarely use. Don’t put your worn out shoes and slippers anywhere in your wardrobe unless of course you want your wardrobe to smell like a wet market.
